Sadly Judy van Dyk passed away on 8/5/2010 after
a long suffering with a debilitating blood disease.
MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.
She will always be remembered for her uncomplaining demeanor, her
love of her children and grand children and her concerns for those less
fortunate then herself.
The following series of photo's were taken on our last visit to the Kruger
National Park (April 2010) which she loved so dearly.

The front of the hymn sheet prepared by Robyn.

On the inside page we had the following printed
which was a text we found in Judy's bedside drawer.
Do all the
good you can,
By all the
means you can,
In all the
ways you can,
In all the
places you can,
At all the
times you can,
To all the
people you can,
As long as
ever you can.

JUDY'S MEMORIAL SERVICE TOOK PLACE ON
12/5/2010 AT THE WESLEY METHODIST CHURCH, HAYFIELDS PIETERMARITZBURG.
I estimated about 150+ in attendance.

Robyn put together this Montage for the Church
Service
The hymn we sung
Abide With Me
ABIDE with me; fast falls the eventide;
The darkness deepens; Lord with me abide;
When other helpers fail, and comforts flee,
Help of the helpless, O abide with me.
to its close ebbs out life’s little day;
Earth’s joys grow dim, its glories pass away;
Change and decay in all around I see;
O thou who changest not, abide with me!
I need thy presence every passing hour;
What but thy grace can foil the tempter’s power?
Who like thyself my guide and stay can be?
Through cloud and sunshine, O abide with me.
I fear no foe, with thee at hand to bless;
Ills have no weight, and tears no bitterness;
Where is death’s sting? Where, grave, thy victory?
I triumph still, if thou abide with me.
Hold thou thy cross before my closing eyes;
Shine through the gloom, and point me to the skies;
Heaven’s morning breaks, and earth’s vain shadows flee;
In life, in death, O Lord, abide with me!
The service ended with the playing of Chicago's
"As time goes by"
