At Idyllic we try to bring to the attention of browsers interesting Wild Life happenings in Southern Africa

ZULULAND OBSERVER REPORTER  (Monday June 15th 2009)

A group of women and toddlers in a Volkswagen Kombi had a nerve-wracking experience in the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park on Sunday 14th May 2009 when this huge tusker decided to take a breather by resting its trunk on their vehicle’s roof. While curiously sniffing around the kombi, one of the animal’s tusks took out a rear window by accident. Fortunately the elephant was not aggressive and apart from frayed nerves, the only discomfort suffered was the thought of going through the insurance claim - with proof to convince suspicious insurance agents.
